Signing documents in My Signatures

When a document needs your signature, it lands in My Signatures. Here's how to read it, draw your signature, and download your signed copy.

When your agency sends you something to sign — a policy, an onboarding form, an acknowledgment — it shows up in My Signatures. This guide walks through signing one from start to finish.

Open My Signatures (/dashboard/my-signatures). If anything is waiting, you'll see a banner: "You have N document(s) awaiting your signature." The page has two sections, Documents to Sign and Signed Documents.

Open a document to sign

  1. In Documents to Sign, find the document.
  2. Click Sign Now.
  3. The document opens as a preview — read it before you do anything else.

Every signature on Enmantle is hand-drawn. There's no typed or auto-generated signature — you draw yours, the same as signing on paper.

Tick the agreement, then draw

  1. Check the agreement box: "I have read and understand this document…". You can't sign until this is ticked.
  2. Draw your signature in the box marked Sign here.
  3. Not happy with it? Use Clear to start over, or Undo to remove your last stroke.
  4. When it looks right, click Accept Signature.

Take your time on the drawing — a phone screen works fine with a fingertip. Clear wipes the whole box; Undo steps back one stroke at a time.

Two kinds of documents

How many times you sign depends on the document type:

  • Whole-document — one signature covers the entire document, alongside the agreement checkbox. Sign once and you're done.
  • Field-based — the sender has placed specific fields on the pages: signature, initials, and date spots. Fill each placed field where it appears. Enmantle merges your marks into a final signed PDF.

Either way, follow the prompts on screen until every required spot is filled.

Declining a document

If you can't or won't sign, click Decline instead of Sign Now.

Declining is confirmed and can't be undone. If you decline by mistake, contact your admin — they'll need to send the request again.

Only decline when you mean it. If you have a question about the document, ask first and sign after.

Find and download your signed copy

Once you've signed, the document moves from Documents to Sign to Signed Documents. Open it there any time to view or download your copy for your own records.

If a signature ties to onboarding

Some signature requests are part of your onboarding checklist. Signing here can complete the matching task in Completing your onboarding tasks — so check your onboarding journey after you sign to confirm it moved forward.
