Your certifications page keeps all of your credentials in one place — the ones you earn in Enmantle courses and the ones you bring from outside, like your CPR card or background check. This guide covers adding a certification, what happens after you submit it, and when each type expires.

See your certifications

Open My Certifications. Your list merges two sources:

Certificates you earned by finishing Enmantle courses.
External Certifications you or your agency added by hand — CPR, background checks, driver's license, and more.

Add a certification

Open My Certifications.
Choose to add a new certification.
Pick the certification type.
Enter the issue date, and upload a photo or PDF if you have one.
Save.

Pending, then approved

When you add a certification, it starts as PENDING. Your agency's approvers — a director or administrator — get an email and review it. Once they approve, it counts toward your compliance. (Directors and administrators who add their own certifications are approved automatically.)

When each type expires

For most types, Enmantle calculates the expiry date for you from the issue date. A few examples:

CPR & First Aid — 2 years.
Med Pass — 1 year.
Agency Policies & Procedures — 1 year.
Annual Training — end of the following year.
ISP Training (Client-Specific) — 3 months.
BCII Criminal Background Check and FBI Background Check — 5 years.
Initial Driver Abstract — 3 years.

For Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance, you enter the expiry date yourself. A few types — like ARCs, Rapback Enrollment, and Diploma or GED — never expire.

Read your status dots

A colored dot shows the health of each certification:

Green — active and current.
Amber — expiring within 30 days.
Red — expired.

Enmantle shows in-app reminders as a certification gets close to its expiry date, so you have time to renew.

Renew a certification

To renew, add a new certification of the same type with the new issue date. Enmantle automatically archives the older one, so your list stays clean and only the current credential counts.

Certifications don't block your schedule

One thing worth knowing: certifications are tracked and alerted only. An expired or missing certification shows up in your status and prompts a reminder, but it never stops you from being scheduled or clocking in. Keeping them current is about staying compliant with your agency and DODD — not about unlocking the app.
