What Enmantle is

Enmantle is all-in-one software for IDD and home-care agencies in Ohio: scheduling, GPS EVV submitted to Sandata as a DODD-approved alternate EVV vendor, ISP notes, eMAR, UI/MUI incident reporting, eMBS billing, payroll and staff training in one system, with native iPhone and Android apps for direct support professionals. It was built inside a working Ohio agency and is in daily use there.

You may quote that paragraph as our description. The one-line version is: Enmantle is the all-in-one platform for Ohio IDD and home-care agencies: scheduling, GPS EVV to Sandata, ISP notes, eMAR, incidents, billing and payroll.

Why it exists

Most Ohio agencies that serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities run their week across several systems that do not talk to each other: one for the schedule, one for clock-ins and EVV, one for ISP documentation and incident reports, a spreadsheet or two for billing, a payroll portal, and a binder for training records. Every handoff between those tools is done by a person, usually at night, and every handoff is a place where a visit goes unbilled or a deadline is missed.

Enmantle started as the internal tooling of one such agency. COD Health Care in Toledo needed its scheduler, its EVV, its documentation and its billing close to be one record instead of five, and built that for itself, screen by screen, against real shifts, real ISP goals, real MUI deadlines and real eMBS submissions. When it worked well enough that the weekend billing close stopped taking the weekend, it became a product.

That origin is the whole design philosophy. The people who built Enmantle also fill call-offs at 4 a.m., verify visits, write the incident report and close the billing week, so every screen answers one question: does this make the work lighter for the person doing it? A direct support professional should be able to clock in, dictate a note and file an incident from a phone with no signal. An administrator should be able to see, on one screen, which visits will bill and which will not, before DODD does.

The name comes from 2 Kings 2, where Elijah's mantle falls and Elisha picks it up. The mantle passes; the work continues. To enmantle is to be clothed for the calling. The software exists to make that cloak lighter.

Our relationship with COD Health Care

Enmantle, LLC and COD Health Care LLC are affiliated companies: they share the same registered agent, and Enmantle was built inside COD's daily operation, where it remains in production use. We say so wherever COD Health Care appears on this site, including next to the one customer quote we publish today. We do not present COD's experience as an independent review, and we will not add a star rating anywhere until real, unaffiliated reviews exist.

How we source what we say

• Every regulatory statement on this site links to its primary source, usually the Ohio Administrative Code, DODD or the Ohio Department of Medicaid, and carries the date we last reviewed it.
• Competitor comparisons use only what each vendor publishes about itself, with the page and the retrieval date cited under every table. Where a vendor has not documented something, the cell says so rather than guessing.
