Posting and targeting announcements
Post company news to the right people: set priority, pin it, require acknowledgement, schedule it, and target by role or location.
Announcements are how you get company news, policy changes, and reminders in front of your team all at once. Anyone at Manager level or above can post; DSPs and other staff read them and, when asked, acknowledge them. You'll find everything under Announcements in the dashboard.
Start a new announcement
- Open
Announcementsfrom the dashboard. - Click
New Announcement. - Under
Content, fill in theTitleand write your message inContent. Both are required. - If you have a banner image, paste its link into
Cover Image URL (Optional).
Need to attach a document? Under Attachments you can add files. Supported types are PDF, PNG, JPG, MP4, DOC, and DOCX, up to 50MB each. For policies your team should keep and refer back to, store them in Files and link them instead.
Set priority and pin it
Under Publishing, choose a Priority Level: Normal, Medium, High, or Urgent. Use the higher levels sparingly so they still mean something.
Check Pin to top to keep an announcement at the top of everyone's list — handy for something that needs to stay visible for a while, like an open-enrollment deadline.
Ask people to acknowledge
Check Requires acknowledgement when you need proof that people actually read it — a new policy, a schedule change, a safety notice. Readers get a button they must tap to confirm, and you can see who has and hasn't. Reading alone doesn't count; they have to acknowledge.
Choose who sees it
Open the Audience section. By default, an announcement goes to everyone — you'll see the note "This announcement will be visible to all staff members." Targeting is opt-in: you only narrow the audience if you fill something in.
Target Roles (leave empty for all)— pick one or more roles, e.g. only DSPs, or only office staff.Target Locations (leave empty for all)— pick specific homes or sites.- You can also add specific people by name.
As you narrow it, the live count at the top updates — Audience (N people) — so you always know how many will see it before you post. If roles and locations look thin, it may be a staffing setup issue; see Adding staff and roles.
Leave both role and location targeting empty and the announcement reaches all staff. Fill either one in only when you truly want to narrow it.
Schedule it or publish now
Want it to go out later? Set a time in Schedule for later (Optional). When you do, the Publish button changes to Schedule. You can also set Expires at (Optional) so it drops off on its own once it's no longer relevant.
Save a draft or publish
Not ready? Click Save Draft and come back later — Enmantle shows a Last saved time and keeps a version history, so nothing gets lost. When it's ready, click Publish (or Schedule if you set a future time).
When you publish, staff can get an email too, depending on the Announcement Emails toggle in Settings. On the reading side, your team can filter with the all, mine, pinned, and unread tabs to find what matters.
