Enmantle ships with a catalog of prebuilt reports covering the questions agencies ask most — hours worked, certifications due, medications administered, billing that's aging. Before you build anything from scratch, it's worth knowing what's already there and how to run it.

## Open the catalog

Go to `Reports`. The page opens on a hub. At the top, `Your reports` gives you three shortcuts — `Favorites`, `Recently Run`, and `Scheduled`. Below that is `Browse`, the full catalog.

Reports are grouped into collapsible sections by category — `Time & Attendance`, `Financial`, `Compliance`, `HR`, `Scheduling`, `Clients`, `Daily Documentation`, `Billing`, and `Medications`. Click a category header to expand it and see the reports inside, each with a short description.

To jump straight to one, use the `Search reports...` box at the top — it matches on name, description, and category and expands every section that has a hit.

## Pick a report

Each category holds ready-made reports. A few you'll reach for often:

- `Time Clock Hours` — who worked, when, and for how long.
- `Certification Status` — where each staff member stands, with expiry alerts.
- `Incidents — Monthly UI Log` — the DODD-format monthly log of filed incidents.
- `MAR Log` — the medication administration record for what was actually documented.
- `Billing Aging (30/60/90)` — unpaid rows bucketed by how stale they are.

Click a report's name to open it. To keep one handy, click the star icon beside it — it then shows in your `Favorites` card on the hub.

## Filter and run it

Opening a report drops you on its run view with a `Filters` panel. What you see depends on the report, but it's usually some mix of `Start Date` / `End Date`, `Locations`, `Staff`, `Clients`, and status pickers. Set the slice you want, then click `View Report`.

The results render in a table below, with subtotals and grand totals where the report defines them. If nothing matches, you'll see `No records found` — widen your dates or clear a filter and run it again.

> Use `Save filters` to make your current picks the default for that report, so it opens pre-scoped next time. `Reset saved filters` clears them back to the standard defaults.

## Export it

Once a report is on screen, the export buttons sit in its header: `PDF` for a clean printable copy, `Excel` for a spreadsheet you can pivot, and `CSV` for raw data to load elsewhere. Click one and the file downloads.

## Save it to Your reports

The catalog reports run as-is, but you can tailor one and keep it. Open `New custom report` from the hub to build a version with exactly the columns and filters you want, then `Save Report`. Saved reports appear under `Custom Reports` in the catalog and in your `Favorites` and `Recently Run` cards — and only saved reports can be scheduled to email.

## Next steps

- Want columns the prebuilt reports don't have, or a copy in your inbox on a schedule? See [Build a custom report and schedule it to your inbox](/help/custom-report-schedule).
- Chasing a specific problem instead of a summary? Use the [audit log to trace documentation errors](/help/audit-log-trace-errors).
